Structural Funds

Funding orientation and priorities

European Structural Funds – which include the European Social Fund - are an important tool for promoting employment, investing in education and life-long learning and achieving social cohesion and social inclusion. Not-for-profit service providers are heavily involved in the implementation of ESF projects on the ground, but to a lesser extent in their governance process.

Social Services Europe and its members would be able to bring an important contribution to discussions by complementing social partners in defining the main orientations because of their knowledge of the social needs at grassroots level and to fully exploit the potential of the fund.
